Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast – 200 gms
  • Garlic ginger paste – 1tbsp
  • Chili sauce – 1 tsp.
  • Soya sauce – 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice – of 1 (small)
  • Crushed black pepper1/2 tsp
  • Salt –  to taste
  • Oil or butter – 4tbsp
  • Carrots – 2
  • Beans – 10 nos.
  • Potato – 2

For Sauce

  • Butter – 2 tbsp.
  • Onion – 1 chopped
  • Garlic – 1/2 tsp.
  • Tomato puree – 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice – of 1 (small)
  • Thyme – 1/4 tsp.
  •  Oregano – 1/2 tsp.
  • Chicken stock – 1 cup
  • White pepper – 1/2 tsp.
  • Crushed red chilies – 1/2 tsp.
  • Corn flour – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – to taste

Method

  • Hammer the steak and make it flat. Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, chili sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt and black pepper powder and leave aside for 3 to 4 hrs.
  • Heat oil or butter in pan and fry the steak until its done. (You may also grill it.)
  • Chop carrots and beans into 2 inch long matchsticks. Boil the vegetables till tender.
  • Peel the potatoes and cook in a pressure cooker till it is soft enough to be mashed. Drain and mash them in a separate bowl and add a little salt and pepper and mix well.
  • For sauce heat butter in pan and fry onions till they are soft. Add garlic, tomato puree and cook it for 2 minutes.
  • Let it cool down and grind in a blender. Now heat it again and add stock, salt, white pepper, soya sauce, thyme and oregano. Mix well.
  • Dissolve corn flour in water and add into the sauce. Cook till it thickens. Remove from heat and add lemon juice.
  • Arrange the vegetables and fried steak on a platter and pipe the mashed potato using a piping bag.
  • Finally pour the sauce over the steak and serve.
